When I am approaching the arrival airport I do not receive any message asking me to reduce my altitude although the waypoints i have reached are set to lower altitudes already (e.g. when approaching EDDF, I have already passed the last waypoint (41NM distance to the airport) at 18000ft while the waypoint is set to 14000ft and the ATC does not ask me to sink at all). What could be the reason for that?

Next time this happens please EMAIL a copy of the debug monitor log and I'll take a look

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S

Hi Dave,
after the debug monitor log I sent you some days ago, I am just sending you another debug monitor log from a recent experience where I did not receive any descent requests during approach. Could you please have a look at it. I am getting crazy with this kind of problems:)

Thanks Tilo

Hi Tilo,

For Windows 7 go to: >Control Panel< >Region and Language< >Formats< change format to English UK and recompile your ADV files, this fixed that problem for me.

Best regards,

Hi Gregorz,
I just changed the settings as you proposed and rebuild and recompiled the flightplan again. Unfortunately, the same result. I don't know what to do else. I hope Dave is having a look to the log files I sent. Unfortunately, no response yet...

Cheers,
Tilo

Could you open your FS2000, then using >Open< button on the bottom open your compiled flight plan and check if runways elevations for departure and destination correct? You should look for something like this in flight plan:

Information for Warszawa Okecie
Latitude - N 52ş 09' 54"
Longitude - E 020ş 58' 00"
Elevation - 00362 Feet

Information for Salzburg
Latitude - N 47ş 47' 36"
Longitude - E 013ş 00' 12"
Elevation - 01411 Feet

And indeed Dave is hard to catch, I'm also waiting for some link from him ;)

Hi Tilo,
I've just learned from other thread the reason for Dave's absence:

Looks like we have to wait patiently :)
