I have just startet with PFE (bought it from Aerosoft last week) and worked through the PFE manual provided. Page 39 refers to the original ProFlight 2000 manual as being available as softcopy via Startmenu. It also recommends to printout this manual for further reference.
However, I cannot find it (I only find the PFE manuals in my folder as well as on CD).

As I have never worked with the original ProFlight 2000 version and therefore have many essential questions, I would really like to have this manual at hand.
What do I need to do to access it?
Thanks very much for your help in advance!

Tilo

Click Start and All Programs and look for AEROSOFT,then scroll down to Manual

If you don't have 2 monitors, where you can have it open all the time, then you will need to open (double click on it) the PDF file (Manual) and keep maximising and minimising as you are going along, then if you want you can print it off...

I have seen two manuals there (one in English and one in German) and a tutorial but these are PFE manuals and not the Proflight 2000 manual as stated in the PFE manual.

The manual explains abit about Proflight 2000 and what it used to do,there is no such manual just for Proflight 2000...

This programme is PFE,it uses some of Proflight just for creating/compiling a flightplan, the rest is done by PFE.

Proflight 2000 is a very old programme, that's why Dave March created PFE to utilise some of Proflight 2000 capabilities

Hope this explains all...

Ok. I understand...
I would have looked for a complete guide how the software works, how to get started (e.g. how to start communication etc.) and I hoped that the manual as stated there is really available.

I will now check whether I will find any sources on the Internet.

Anyway, thanks very much for your help and your clarification.

You have a complete guide in the pfe documentation, including a tutorial. What exactly are you having problems with?
