ive read in many posts that it is a good idea to install pfe on a second hard drive. for this reason i purchased a wd caviar black 500 gb hard drive and made it my master drive. i then performed killdisk to my pc's stock 250 gb hitachi hard drive, reformated it and then installed it as a salve. i installed pfe to the slave and scence then i can only get the origianal voice pack to work. when i install my expansion voice set the installer runs much qwicker than it ever has before and says it installs fine but they do not, i also cant get the accumulative update to install either. i have all current versions of the software and all updates for my pc. i have tried everything i can think of to get the software to work but so far nothing has helped. everything else i have put on the slave works fine except pfe. any sugestions ?

Did you load PF2000 and close it again before installing the voice packs etc as mentioned in the instructions?

Well I've never suggested pfe needs to be installed on a separate drive and to buy a new hd for that purpose is absurd. We have always stated you should avoid installing pfe into the program files folder, especially on vista or win 7 systems.

Are you absolutely certain you're installing the expansion pack from the correct location, as per the instructions?
