Hi all this is my first post here. I have PFE with the cumulative update, so I am running version 2.14. I have FSX with service pack 2 running on a Windows XP pro computer. I launch FSX with a flight plan; I can launch PFE get to the convert flight plan to PF2000 it does that; but none of the buttons are active. I can't compile the flight plan. The program does not work. I check the paths to make sure that my source was the FSX files for the flight plans and the target was pilots folder under PFE. The button for connecting to FS doesn't even become active. I am throughly frustrated at this software. Is there anyone out there that can help before I take the software off of my hard drive for ever! I even check the folder PFE to make sure all components are there. Everything is fine as far as I can tell. Please help! :(

I have done everything that was "suggested" check file paths, tutorials, etc. The software really is not compatible with FSX service pack 2. From what I can ascertain it was meant for FS2000. I am beginning to feel that I have purchased "junkware" The so-called support I keep getting from Dave March is not solving the issue that the software will not run with FSX. I have not been given any real suggestions for getting the software to run. I downloaded the update and still the software does not run. I am greatly disappointed that Aerosoft would market such a program that is clearly not FSX compatible. I will very carefully review any decisions to purchase online again.
I thought I might need FSUIPC, even though no mention of it is in the "manual" I installed the free version 4.60 and still the program will not run. It was a good idea but a waste of money.

It does work with fsx... No problem at all... as many hundreds of satisfied users could confirm. Why you have such issues I do not know but If you feel so dissatisfied just return the product and I'm sure we'll all be happier

Occasionally a specific flight plan won't compile in PF2000. I don't know why and there have been some posts on here regarding that issue. Give another flight plan to PF2000 to compile. don't throw the programme away. Yes, it does have some anomalies, but most of them can be circumvented. It does take a lot of getting used to but once assimilated you should enjoy it much more thatn the sim ATC which is s h one t.
