I have mentioned this in several threads so before I start another reinstall could you please just let me know if this is a mistake in the the development in FSE or maby its on my end with a corrupt install, when flying through Toronto Airspace its shows and calls Edmonton Center, if someone could compile a flightplan CYYZ to wherever and look with the pfe display tool to see what the first center is it should be Toronto Center, but with my pfe it reads Edmonton Center, please I want to know if this is a error with pfe or a buggy install on my end. I really don't want to do another install if there is no chance of fixing the issue, I will just change i to a unnamed center and get on with it. :)

I just made a test flight CYYZ-KJFK and the first centre listed is Cleveland 125.2.
Tried another CYYZ - CYQX and it shows Edmonton 134.9 as the first (and third).

Hope this helps,

John

I remember many years ago asking the same question to Tom Main and the answer was Edmunton Center COULD come up when flying eastern Canada. The problem is with PF2K and NOT PFE. They never got a chance to address the issue as far as I know. I guess one could go into the data base and try to fix it or you could pretend the controller just got transfered and he screwed up!

Well seeing how 90% of my flights are in YYZ center that transfered controller has to be fired at some point :) Well looks loke it is an error on the PFE side and not an install problem, Thanks guys, the question now is will it be fixed in a future update?

As I understand it, it is possible in the Settings section to get Edmonton Centre to call itself Toronto but I think that will make it wrong when you are in the Edmonton control area. That might be the lesser evil if you consistently fly from CYYZ, though.

As for a fix, if it is PF2K that causes it - forget it. It is already stated here, there and everywhere that no changes to it will/can be made. That software was not written by Dave March and as I understand it he doesn't have the rights/means to do anything with it other than use it as it stands.

Thanks for that John, Im new here and did not know this. Its not a huge deal really, I just figured if there was away to fix it it would be nice, Anyways I just changed Edmonton center to the unnamed "Center", I can live with that. Thanks guys
