New user here - just getting familiar with the product. A few minor issues I'm working out as I go through the manual, etc.

One thing though, almost every time I exit the program - I get a popup error box from W7 and I have to click 'close program'.

As I write this, I am not sure whether FSX was still running when I shut down PFE (from the PFE Main dialog) so I'll have to pay attention to that.

Does it make any difference if FSX is shut down before PFE or after?

Shutting down PFE first is always the best bet otherwise it will throw up some error about not being able to access hot keys if you close FS first.
