Hi,
I am new to the software; Pro Flight Emulator Deluxe.
I have read the instructions carefully and checked it out also on You Tube.
The software has left me baffled as I had opened Pro Flight 2000 and chose my area.
Saved a flight plan in FSX beforehand.
I selected my callsign and cruise altitude. Then I clicked on; 'select FLT at the upper left of the window. Another window shows with 'select Flight Simulator 2000 Flight Plan file and by default it shows; Dummy.pln. On the other side it has as follows:
C:\
Program Files (x86)
Aerosoft
PFE
FS2000
Pilots
These sections show the yellow open folder icons to their left side.
It is the 'pilots' folder that has the default Dummy .pln.
When I click on the c:\ {vista} in the narrow window above that, I choose another area of my system and then click back on c:\ for the flight plans that are saved on my hard drive.
These then show in the correct window in Pro Flight 2000.
When I highlight the flight plan for use, the OK sign highlights. I then click on this and the problem is, the compile button doesn't highlight itself for me to compile into my FSX.
The only areas highlighted are the 'open' 'settings' and 'Delete ADV' buttons.
Aswell as the Select Spec and Select FLT. I don't know what I am doing wrong or what I am doing here.
Looking at information on You Tube, I was shown a video where it actually shows ATC with different voice accents where a flight took place in a different region of the world.
When I purchased the software, I thought it was quite straight forward.
However, whatever the case, am I actually doing it right for this to happen?
I would very much like to have the correct accents for the correct area of the globe if this is possible, not forgetting also the correct ATC phraselogy, for different areas of the globe.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.

Have you read the manual at all?

Have you followed the tutorial?

It would appear to me that you simply haven't configured PFE correctly... so please read the documentation and then if you still have problems by all means come back to use and we will get you up and running.

Hi, I have read the manual and docs. Also the tutorial.
What I have done is installed it onto another computer I hardly use and it had installed correctly. It works fine on there.
Unfortunately, it has failed to set up properly here on my computer.
I have converted the flight plan with Pro Flight 2000 and as mentioned I tried to use the select FLT area and shows dummy.PLN and cannot enter any flight plan into the window.
In the mean time I did use Edit Voice Pack in FSX and am wondering if this is causing any confliction at all?
I have removed that program since.
Still not working properly.
If any flight plan was seen in the window as it sometimes does, it still cannot be compiled.
As the compile button is still in grey.
Other than that it has converted to PFE mode on the flight plans submitted but doesn't seem to want to know.
I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Regards,

Mark.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for sending the file.... it certainly looks like you must be using a rather old version of PFE. What is the version number shown on the main menu screen?

That is so old and completely unsupported. The current version is 2.14. I would suggest you download and install the accumulative updates package from the support forum. When installing please ensure you stop all security type programs, especially your anti virus. Also make sure you are logged on as administrator and turn windows UAC off.
