You should setup PF3 to run with elevated admin rights. Right-click and select Run as Administrator. You can also setup a desktop icon to always run that way.

So what happens when you run it?

But what happens when you run it? Does it not show anything at all?

Hi Dave.
When I double click tha blue circle appears for about half a second,no window appears.Monitoring via task manager nothing shows
Could it be needing one of the updated DLL that were issued in the earlier betas i have 3.22.8 ,3.23.16,3.23.18 but no others
Hope this helps

Ashley

No, if you have 3.22.0 installed then you have everything you need.

If you could run 3.22.0 again and send me the resulting startup.log and the XDebug.log... then do the same with the beta, that 'might' help me.

I ran into this too until I figured it out.

The first time you run a new pf3.exe file you need to right click on the file > click properties > general tab, look at the bottom of the page and there is a checkbox "unblock" this exe file.

I must have some elevated security setting in Win 11 that blocks new .exe files until you specifically unblock them. I have to do this each time I download a new beta.

Hi Dave,
Sorry for the delay in responding-my w11 installation went BSD and I had to rebild/reinstall my whole PC.
I wasn't aware that ther was the checkbox noticed by Perch8808,I'll try that when I can reregister PF3,I sent an email yesterday so I just am waiting for you to unblock me.

As an aside in the last 6 months I have had 2 PCs fail-one melted the GPU and cables and now this BSD-well stuff happens eh?

Thanks

Ashley

Must have been a symptom of my W11 dying

Thanks for your help.I am a happy bunny
