Just got a new OS Windows 7 64 Bit and am having great difficulty installing PFE Deluxe boxed version (purchased 4/30/2008) version w/ expanded voice pack (7/04/08). I have been able to install version 1.8.4 but cannot get past this point.
When I use the Check for Updates feature it continues to tell me I am up to date which I know is wrong. Can you help me get over this hurdle so I can complete the installation.

Thank you :)

Andy, I installed the cum-update and Version 2.14.0 is installed on my version of PFE..however I do have 2 problems:
1. I cannot hear pilot voices when choosing from the PFE options list..
2. When I launch PFE I have a message telling me that I do not have the expansion voice pack installed even though I installed it successfully according to the installer.
I installed both updates from inside the PFE updates folder per the instructions and all appeared to have worked as designed except as noted above. Any ideas I hope...

Did you run PF2000 (not PFE) and then close it again as mentioned in the instructions at some point.

Yes, I did all per the instructions, as stated, everything appeared to load properly but I have no sound and the voice pack does not work.

Okay the computer sound problem is fixed so I can hear voices..(still not sure what I did to fix that) however the voice pack is still not being recognized by PFE. I am going to try another re-install of the voice pack and see if that helps. :geek:

Dave, that would be wonderful, I think I may know what my problem is but your instructions would be most welcome as there have been many changes to the program since I bought the boxed program so time ago. I may nn to re-download the Expansion voice pack unless I can pull it off my soon to be totally broke old computer. I am just happy I have finally got sound to go with it...

Thank you for all your didicated work w/ all your products.
Vincent :)
