Hello Dave,
First and foremost a very Happy New Year to you and your team.
Holiday travel prevented me from contacting you sooner, but since reinstalling and reactivating PF3 I have been unable to load this flight plan or others.
After opening PF3 and selecting a plan I get this message.

There was a problem whilst processing this flight plan!

Please report...........................apologize for any inconvenience.

FPP Error!

then another message

Run-time error '9'
Subscript out of range

I'm attaching the debug log as well as the Plan itself, PF3 ini file. The FPP_net.log file
has 'Could not find file 'C:\FS_Addons\PF3\flight\fpp\pfe.PLN'.
I think i caused it myself by editing the Path in the ini file when the problem first arose.
Hopefully you can identify the issue (s)

Well there's nothing wrong with the flight plan an it loads perfectly well here, so it must be one of your settings. You say you messed with the pF3.INI file so please let me see that. The zip file you have named PF3 INI actually contains the PF3.exe and not the INI file

If you open the INI file and search for the [FlightPlans] section and delete what I've highlighted below in red, because this should be where MSFS saves your flight plans and not the PF3/FPP folder. The resave the file

[FlightPlans]
Path1=
Path2=
Path3=
Path4=C:\FS_Addons\PF3\flight\fpp\PF3.PLN

Once you've done that just start PF3 and load a flight plan and you'll be prompted to browse to wherever NSFS flight plans are saved on your system. It looks like it's probably

C:\Users\paul kirwan\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\

But of course I can't be 100% certain, on my system it's

D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-2506635614-967523915-2006091698-1003\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\

Hi David,
OK, I am completely gob-smacked, to use a british term.
Did change the Path as you said and PF3 loads now. Unfortuately after connecting to FS I received the intial NOTAM and ATC Captions Screen. Nothing else, No local Frequencies, No Communication,
'CS T' brings up a list of Hotkeys but none work. Hotkeys Beep with no result (except ATIS) WHAT xpqu65xxtub?

Your Master Avionics switch is either OFF or not recognised. Please see the following from the version history and user guide docs
Quote:
• Please Note: Some MSFS aircraft seem to have an problem with their
Master Avionics not showing up as being 'On' when starting from Cold &PF3 – ATC at its best
Version History
Dark. Everything appears to work when starting with the engines running.
When this happens PF3 detects Avionics are off. Should this be a problem
for you there's a new option under Options #2 / Advanced Options /
COMs, named 'Ignore Avionics Switch'. When selecting this new option PF3
will consider your Avionics are ON at all time and will not detect them
being turn off.

Thanks Dave, that worked. Problem was with the A320neo. Is this a bug with the latest beta?

No it's not a PF3 bug at all. It's just for some MSFS aircraft we simply can't detect the master avionics switch... it's almost as if Asobo are using a different memory location for some aircraft. Go figure!

Dave, Please forgive me suggesting a bug in PF3! Mea Culpa

Interestingly, I now have a ATC caption appearing at the upper left corner of my Display (where the Map goes)
only the last message is displayed to/from ATC. All captions still appear on my second display as i have it setup to do.
I dont mind it but trying to figure out how it just started to appear.
