Hello Dave,

Thanks so much for the latest update - v3.17.0 features many small changes for the better, and has certainly fixed the issue that I raised recently.

All is working fine for me except that the curious "blinking taxi gauge" problem when using FDC-LC has returned - as discussed at viewtopic.php?t=3799 . In that thread you said that all you did was to re-compile the TGS.exe file to fix it. Is it practical for me to copy the tgs.exe file from version 3.16.0? Or will that break things, given that 3.17.0 has apparently changed certain taxi arrangements?

I notice the current tgs.exe is 36 kb in size whilst in my backups of 3.16 and 3.12 it was 100 kb.

Best regards,

John

Hi John, Sure, use the previous version... I only made a small (display) change so I'd be interested to know if your issue disappears using the previous version. Don't worry about the size, it really doesn't matter, the larger ones just mean I forgot to compress them.

Thanks, Dave, that sorted it nicely.

Hi John, so are you saying you don't get that flashing gauge using the previous version of TGS.exe but you do with the latest?

Mines the opposite, my TGS doesn't work at all but at least i get taxi guidance verbally at iniscenes London Heathrow now!

Edit: Now have the TGS working, opened up properties and changed settings to run as "Administrator"...worked as it should :D

That's good to hear; the complexity of that particular scenery was quite a challenge when reworking the taxi routing code and resulted in a major rewrite.

Cheers,
Martin
