Hello,

I cannot connect to MSFS with PF3. I have tried many suggestions from other threads.

- Changed windows language.
- Downloaded and added the DX package.
- Downloaded and ran PF3 Runtime package.
- Tried to update .NET - Framework (Would not update from the current version I have since its already managed by Microsoft updates)
- Ran netfxrepairetool.exe - did not fix any errors.

Thank you,

- Jaime

Cleared all logs and did a fresh start. This should be the most current zip.

The 'Not enough hotkeys' is only presented after another problem has occurred and you then try PF3 again without restarting FS, sso it's a little misleading. We really need to know what the first message is, but the log doesn't show me anything. Are there any other messages displayed?

First thing to do is to run the PF3 Validation utility, which you can do via the Options #2 button. The onscreen instructions will inform you where the validation log will be written, which I would like you to zip and attach to your post.

You should also reinstall the DirectX Managed Runtimes because depending on the state of your NET installation Windows updates will sometime overwrite the first install of those runtimes.

Next please locate the file named PF3_Register.exe in your main PF3 folder... right-click on it and select 'Run as Administrator'. Wait 30 seconds then try PF3 again

When I run MSFS and start the game in an airport I then try to connect the PF3 to the sim. Usually, a window appears in the game briefly with a black background and green lines. Then it exists and PF3 Closes itself. Then I try to load PF3 Again (Even if I restart MSFS - It will then present me with the 'Not enough hotkeys' error.

I also ran PF3_Register.exe with admin rights - but nothing shows up after it is given permission to run.

I also tried to reinstall DirectX Managed Runtimes - States that it already is current.

Are you installing the DirectX Runtimes from the following link, because the message you show doesn't look right to me?

http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/downloads/ ... ntimes.zip

That was the original Direct - X that I installed - which was recommended in another post. I installed it again and ran the program still same issue - PF3 Crashes.

There is one other thing that used to pop up for the current flight plan before I turned it off in settings - stars are too close together. I don't know if that would cause an issue.

I did. Still did not solve the issue. I ran it a few times just to make sure.
