The PF3 Display pic at least shows you now have an established connection... however, the cmd pic seems to indicate you ran it without FS/PF3/PF3 Display running

That is exactly the problem. What you are looking at is the PF3 displayer window while sitting at KDEN in a PMDG 7373 with the radio tuned to Clearance. I can hit 0 and get clearance to answer and give me a clearance. I can go to ground and through pushback and taxi okay. PF3 displayer does not respond to any freqe4ncy changes and the picture I sent is all I get.

I no longer get any responses from the cmd line search for ports, image 2.

Thanks

Doug

Well in your latest pic it shows PF3 Display is NOT connected, so something happened between this and the last picture you posted when you did have a connection

If netstat was showing ports 1008 & 1009 earlier, but it isn't now, this tells me that the PF3 task is no longer running - did it perhaps crash?

No crash. I sent an old picture the other with green lights show the same as this one with no frequencies or any response when I change frequencies. It may be connected but it ain't working.

Thanks

So I went ahead and added port 1008-1010 since they didn't show up on any report.

I ran PF3 with P3D and then the command prompt. The prompt showed 1008 and 1009 listening and 1010 didn't show at all. When I ran the displayer it came up with red lights. I changed the port in the ini file to 1008 and ran it again. The command prompt showed 1008 established and the displayer had green lights.

However, the displayer does not show any frequencies at all. When I dialed clearance there was no response as to avaialbe commands on the displayer. Clearance did respond

I have attached files and another image.

Lost and confused (normal state)

Okay, since you're running PF3 Display on another pc please check the version number... it should be 4.1.1

According to the logs you sent you have the port number set to 1008 in PF3 Display but 1010 in PF3

I'm not running it on another pc. I have in the past but I am running it now on the same pc as pf3. Not sure where I change the port for pf3 but I went into the main menu to ini tweaks and changed the port for displayer to 1008.

Now I get red lights and no frequencies.

When I run the command prompt it says syn_sent for port 1008.

Would uninstalling and reinstalling but a good place to start over? If so how do I do it without losing my license?

Thanks

Doug

The new netstat output suggests that PF3 has only opened port 1009, and PF3 Display is trying to use port 1008.
I think that the problem may be that you have port 1008 configured for both Remote Text and PF3 Display.
If you're not using Remote Text then simply untick the 'Use Remote Text' option; if you are using Remote Text then please make sure that you have 3 different values specified and the first one isn't 1008, for example 9008 and 1009 for Remote Text, 1008 for PF3 Display.

Cheers,
Martin

I unchecked remote text and put two ports in anyway. I made sure the pF3 display was 1008. Got the same thing when I ran P3d. SO I got the two red lights and no frequencies.

Let me as a question about the ports. When I go to windows firewall, advanced and inbound rules should there be a rule for PF# and/or a rule to create the ports 1008-1010?

Would a complete uninstall reinstall do any good?

I appreciate all the time you are spending to help me.

Thanks

Doug
