i fixxed my error 13 deal but now when using pfe i get about 5 minuets after wheels up and fsx freezes or crashes to desk top. when not using pfe fsx functions normal. any ideas? p.s. thanks for the timely response to my last problem, no other company i have delt with got to my problem so fast. thank you for your time.

I very much doubt PFE is causing FS to freeze but please send me the debug_monitor.log file from the PFE\Logs folder so I can take a look at what was happening

As expected, the log simply stops without any errors, etc.

Does this happen with all aircraft?

As I say I would very much doubt PFE could make FS freeze

i have tried with multipule aircraft even fsx native aircraft. and fsx and pfe go to a no response state every time . i did however manage to make it to the half way point of my flight with my last atempt. agian this only happens when i run pfe for the flight, i can make the same flight without pfe and not have a problem.

Okay, let's go back to square one...

Are you using FSX with SP2?

Are you using PFE version 2.14?

Are you using the latest version of FSUIPC (4.60)?

I'm assuming you're running PFE on the same machine as FS, if not are you running the latest version of WideFS.

What other addons are you using alongside PFE?

What OS are you using and is it up to date with all security patches?

For FSX to freeze and/or CTD it has to be a serious contention issue and I would guess something which is writing data rather than reading data from FSUIPC which is what PFE does predominantly. According to the log PFE obviously does not detect anything untoward except for FS suddenly disappearing.

Please send me your latest PFE debug_monitor.log, just in case there's more info in that one than the last one you sent

Which anti virus program do you use?

Are you running any other security related programs and if so which ones?
