Hi Dave, is there any way to assign a joystick button as PTT? I think this would be more realist than using aa keyboard shortcut.

Also, I am setting up Voice Attack to work with PF3 so that I speak a phrase and it converts that into a number to be pressed. Do I have to depress the keyboard the whole time I am saying the phrase or do I just give it a quick press? I read the relevant item in the manual but I am still not sure.

Once again, many thanks for your answers.

Regards
John

Probably the easiest way would be to use FSUIPC to configure your Joystick button.

The PTT key is pressed and released, but you need to set the PTT pause interval on the Options #1 page

FSUIPC also has the provision to repeat a key press. I've set the time-out (PF3) and the repeat intervall (FSUIPC) to 1 sec, which works nicely.
