can't contact TWR at EDJA

loaded up an IFR flight plan. could not get twr to give me clearance. am i doing something wrong?

Well there's certainly something strange going on here, which I've never seen before. EDJA altitude is shown as 2079 but your aircraft's altitude is showing 2667. PF3 assumes you have taken off and so switched over to your first waypoint, therefore you would not be able to contact your departure tower frequency.

Do you have any idea why your altitude was showing what it was?

All I can do is try this airport myself and see what happens.

I found out the issue. User error! As usual.
I had live weather on and had not reset my altimeter. its about a 450 foot difference. I guess that's what did it. Just retried it with proper alt setting and tower answered the call for clearance. thanks Dave.

Great, that's good to know. I can make some changes to PF3 so this will not occur again even if you forget to set your altimeter
