Hello friends!
I really love PFE, but since I updated to the newest version (via auto update) I get the same problem over and over again. I prepare PFE just like I allways did. Then I press the CONNECT button and the window in FSX says "PFE Initialising...", but in the backround PFE's allready crashed / closed and that's it. I allready reinstalled PFE, but it didn't work. My OS is Windows 7 64 bit, I have the newest version of FSUIPC (unregistred) and PFE allways worked fine. It crashes since I installed the newest update....

I really need your help here, please!

Hi Mat

1. Download the accumulative update from right here on the support forum

2. Stop all other programs that maybe running, especially your anti-virus and in particular any other security type product

3. Reinstall using the accumulative update package (no need to uninstall anything first)

I allready installed the accumulative update. That solved an issue I had before the accumulative update: I tried to start (!) PFE without even connecting to FSX. It opened and one second later it crashed (closed) by itself. I'm going to give it another try and keep you up to date. Thank you for that.

Does anybody have an idea what else I could do?

EDIT: Just to make things clear: What I did the first time was:
- uninstalling PFE
- installing PFE
- autoupdating to newest Version (thereafter the crash happened that I described above)
- installing the accumulating update
- installing the voice set.

Just in case I did something wrong during the process. But as I said I'm going to give it another try this evening and keep you posted

Do you have a Startup.Log in the PFE\/Logs folder?

I have the same problem with fs2004.

I have the same problem as well...just crashes when connecting.
