Sometimes when I want to descend, I press the L key, then a number for the thousands of feet I want to descend, release the number and then the L key. Almost always, it tells me to syat at the altitude I am presently at. Am I doing something wrong? It takes me 4 or 5 tries to actually get an OK to descend.

I think it's just a keying/timing/ issue... which is probably the same reason why you posted this three times!!

I've just been testing it here and it works every time without fail. You can't wait too long between holding down the L/H key and pressing the numeric key otherwise it's assumed there's no second key on its way.

I don't know if my memory is getting worse as I get older...
...I just can't remember how it used to be!

OK will work on that, thanks.
