Post subject: FDC runtime error 2147221164

After proper installation of FDC 2011 (without antivirus and as an administrator) I'm continuously receiving the following error: 2147221164 Class not registered in "setup Direct Sound" routine.
Any help ??? please

Did you right-click the installer and select 'Run as Admin' rather than just logging on with an Admin account.

Also, try downloading/installing the latest cumulative updates package from this forum to see if that helps
