And the radio noise option is not good enough?
If you mean adding radio noise to PF3 with 'Simulate COM' unchecked, I have to answer 'no': at best a very definite downgrade from my PF3 experience before v.3.10.2
Or maybe we are at crossed purposes? Just to be clear, what I am saying is that if I check 'Simulate Radio COM', as has always been my very strong preference, then many of the voices now (since v3.10.2) sound very obviously 'edited', with snippets of completely different voice qualities cut in. So for instance, E-5 (wasn't that Dave L. I seem to recall??) now has phrases like 'Descend' and 'When Ready' in a completely different voice to the rest of the sentence. That pretty much destroys the sense of real ATC communication that was most definitely there with most of the voicesets before the update. Some of the insertions, as I say, don't even sound human, just a bit of distorted computer-generated noise that I often only understand when I look at the onscreen COM log.
For me, the result is that PF3 is now 'broken', at least in respect of the soundsets with COM simulated - and I don't mind admitting I am pretty unhappy about it.. I use PF3 every flight (and paid good money to get the plugin enabling PF3 in X-Plane too - nothing if not 'loyal' to Oncourse software

), as in the same way I used to use PFE years earlier (and S-Combo before that!).
How I wish I'd kept my backup of the earlier version, but it is now, made before I noticed this problem, of v3.10.2. Too late.
Please provide a way of getting the old voicesets back Dave. I am not really that bothered whether ATC uses phrases like 'when ready' instead of 'at pilots' discretion' or not to be honest. Yes, nice, had they somehow (impossible I guess) been added in the same voice and recording quality as the originals, but not at the expense of the old soundsets being doctored like this.
