As I say they should display centrally using the current position of the main menu screen, so if that is sitting nest the edge of the screen the pop up window could be partially offscreen.
Oh, right.. the 'subwindows' position themselves
in relation to the main UI. I tried moving the main window a little, a couple of centimetres or so, but no change. So I moved the main window more, further up the monitor, and the 'subwindows' in question open up above from the taskbar now.. probably a 'Windows thing', locked to grid or whatever. So I just need to have the main UI in the 'right' position.
Odd though, because I have had the main window in the same place for a very long time now and had no problem with the screen positions of other windows till this week. Something 'happened' but no idea what it might be. No matter.
