Dave, since I upgraded to the latest PFE version, I'm never asked to descend. The first flight it happened so I deleted the flight plan and formed a new one . I flew the route, this time YPAD to YMML. I was at 37000 feet while approaching YMML. I checked the altitudes in PFE all was good. I have no idea why this has started after the update.
I have sent you the log, hope this helps you to help me.

Thanks

I did but don't have an answer for you. For some reason your descent profiles were not as they should have been. The tricky part for me is I can't recreate the problem and going by the feedback on the forum no one else is having this problem.

Please email the ADV file and the ADV.ADJ file for that flight

Sorry Dave I have deleted the flights using your housekeeping methods. I have a previous log file of another flight from YMML to YSSY where the same thing happened. No request to descend. I requested to descend manually.
I enjoy flying with PFE but at the moment I can't use the program. The other option is to restore my computer to a previous time and try to re-install the new version.
I will e-mail the log.

Andrew

You don't have to restore your PC at all to reinstall PFE

Some good news Dave. I restored my system to a previous image using Acronis. I then reinstalled the latest update of PFE, constructed a flight using FSCommander and flew for YSSY to YMML. All the altitudes I changed in PFE were honoured. A perfect descent was the result. Very happy.
I have no idea why the first time I updated to 2.12 it caused issues.
Anyway thanks for your patience.
