Still a bit 'worried' about these runway changes though - I am not totally convinced it can be due to wind direction: why, if it were, would ATC have changed my runway just now from KSLC Rwy 17 to 16R? It doesn't make too much sense.
Haven't looked at your log but that change could easily be explained by AI activity. PF3 probably made an initial assignment of 17 based on wind and then detected AI using 16R so switched you accordingly. I've had it happen many times with runways that are parallel or nearly so. You can accept the change or request the original runway 17 if you'd rather avoid the traffic.

Only after all that do I load PF3
You mean 'connect', I assume? Connecting PF3 and FDC are usually the last thing I do before flying...

No, I don't run PF3 until the sim is up, ground power is on and the weather correctly injected.

All running really nicely, every single flight. At the present time, no issues at all. (Please let me not have jinxed it by saying so!!).

Ever nearer to perfection Dave! Thanks.

The only glitch is "clear of active runway" is repeated. Dave could perhaps set a flag to test whether it has already been said and then turn it off.
Though that would be nice ;)
