After the flight plan is loaded into PF3 but before you connect, click the Adjust Altitudes button on the main PF3 screen and you will see where the XXX waypoints have been added.
Ok thanks to both now I know. I am attaching the flight plan after loaded from PFPX into P3D in the nav log. It looks fine to me not sure how PFPX can be responsible for anything if the Navigational Log is fine but you know better.

Take a look:

Additionally there will be a .json file in the Flight/FPP directory which you can load in http://geojson.io/ to see a map of your flight plan with these XXX waypoints included. PF3 inserts them where it expects a hand-off from one center to the next.
Thanks really cool. I see that MYDIA is right on the ARTCC boundary between Houston and Mexico. So probably PF3 duplicated this waypoint with an XXX? Maybe the solution is if PF3 see a waypoint really close to a XXX then internally should use that waypoint as XXX. Anyway will check all tonight thanks.

Just been looking at the code and I'm pretty sure this was caused by the 'direct to....' request and this has now been fix ready for the next release which will hopefully be in a couple of weeks time.

MYDIA is only 5nm from XXX so that might be the issue. Oh and another problem the fpl is back to front (the section between SHAKR and MYDIA that is). What flight planner are you using?

This is a better fpl
DHP V3 MNATE FIS G765 MAXIM G765 ANALI G765 NUKAN G765 URTOK G765 IMOLO R519 DUGNI
I am attaching my PFPX flight Plan that I used for this flight. This flight is loaded once I am in P3D. I don't see any XXX waypoint there. Maybe XXX was generated by PF3??
No you won't see XXX waypoints in the PFPX fpl as they are added by PF3. They represent Centre boundaries. They don't usually cause any problems though. I guessed your fpl software was PFPX as what it did is a common mistake in its algorithm. It's always a good idea to check a generated fpl against the real charts!snake.jpg
I see what you mean :) wrong airway .. In real life we double check everything of course. Not a big deal in the sim. ;)

Of course it doesn't matter in the sim. But it irks one when people pay good money for software which they think is the bees knees when in actual fact they are quite often unknowingly getting a bad return. In my line I have done more fpls than people have had hot dinners probably. And for the sim I only use freeware stuff. Which also needs adjusting too from time to time. But is generally more accurate than PFPX.

I agree 100%. I really was surprised when you told me about the airway mistake.
But you know what the P stands for in PFPX ...

Just confirmed Dan. I did the flight again no directs to, and worked fine this time. Thanks.
