Still not working:
- When UTL is active the AI is interrupting me although trying the above settings. Tried to set MCE-DEL on and off.
In PF3 set PTT pause interval to 20 (0 turns it off) and VCP mode 0.
Make sure the DEL key (=PF3 PTT hotkey) is assigned to your MCE-PTT-Joystickbutton in FSUIPC.
Make sure the DEL key is not assigned to any other action in FSUIPC, the sim or any aother addon.
Test again if you get interrupted.
Btw you cannot interrupt AI transmissions with the PTT hotkey, it only suspends new AI transmissions for the set time (20 seconds) after you pressed it.
And I think it still can happen that an AI transmission interrupts you right at the beginning of your transmission. I guess it is because the AI transmission process was already started internally when you pressed the PTT hotkey. That sometimes happened to me. Then you just have to wait for your turn again.
If you still get interrupted during your transmissions please attach your logs.
Another improvement now. Setting PTT-time and following key assignments:
- INS for PTT in FSUIPC to joystick button and in PF3 PTT instead of ESC.
- Unselect DEL in MCE
- "shift ctrl \" is very critical because of different regional keyboards. Just replace the original key by same key at YOUR keyboard. My German keyboard showed "shift ctrl }" and this works.
- There are some MCE freeze issues reported in MCE forum and confirmed to be solved in next update by MCE support.
- Sometimes a request or answer to ATC isn't recognized by MCE-voice control and/or PF3. Must be repeated several times to work.
- GSX/AES can't be controlled until now, although the INI entry was set by installation automatically. Probably a MCE problem.
- Your radios / Your control doesn't work. Probably a MCE problem.
- At least in one test flight after line up I was hit by AI traffic lining up the same time (got clearance by FSX ATC?). Perhaps this was because of two parallel taxiway entries into 25C EDDF.
- Better solution for AI control and AI interrupting the ATC calls would be very cool.
- Mayday call isn't forwarded by MCE (probably a MCE error, because PF3 key combination worked).
- What about the FSPASSENGER transponder penalty? Didn't find anything about it. Does it recognize the PF3 squawk assignments?
Finally it seems that there are most problems because of key assignments with different regional keyboards and language settings. Wrong keys additionally may cause unexpected reactions in third party aircraft like Level-D B767 or PMDG B737-800NG / PMDG B747-400 V1 + V2.
Perhaps it will be possible to find a recommended key assignment or better process messaging MCE-PF3 to prevent from side effects.
Will perform additional tests in 1,5 weeks, because I've to suspend now for preparing DLR test.
