Is there such a thing as a script or something that can let you insert all fafs (worldwide) in one go so that you don't have to do it for all airports every time ? Itd be nice if pf3 could read ground elevation as well

Not that I know off. And what do you mean by ground elevation? PF3 knows the airport elevation

Are you planning to visit all the world's airports in one trip? All you have to do is insert the FAF for the airport which is the current destination and job done. It remembers it so next time you use that airport it'll be there. So it's a one off job. and takes just a second or so of your time.

And in most cases the default FAF altitude settings work well. You occasionally may need to adjust it for a specific airport but not for all airports.

I mean waypoint elevation data so that atc does not vector you into mountains.Pro-atcx for example can download waypoint elevation data so that when it vectors you it won't fly you right throuh mountains

To be quite honest you should know when you construct the fpl whether the wypts are above MSA. All charts will print minimum safe altitudes for the waypoints on approach. So it's pretty easy to avoid scratching the paint.
