[This is also in the PFE forum which should be deleted. I couldn't find a way to remove it. Sorry for the double post.]

Greetings,

I tried to run PF3 today and got an activation request. I'm not sure why. It's been more than six months since I used it. I added my activation code and stated it wasn't installed on another machine. I got an error stating that I've exceeded my activation times. (along with a "locked for 30 days")

It may be that I had it installed on a server and had a network set up. But I honestly don't remember. If I did activate it from the networked computer then how would I deactivate that install? The computer is gone and no hope of restoration.

Another situation I remember is the restore of the current PC from a harddisk to an SSD. This would have changed certain Computer ID's that some activation software depend on. Could this be the cause as well?

I appreciate any help with this.

Thanks,

-Matt

Send an email with your activation code to Dave at pf3@oncourse-software.co.uk and he will reset it.

Considering the time zone difference that was really quick.

Thanks a bunch for the help.

I don't know if my memory is getting worse as I get older...
...I just can't remember how it used to be!
