As I approach my destination ATC give speed reductions which is fine, but lately I have been getting two of these instructions in quick succession. For example I will be told to reduce to 290kts and then within seconds told to reduce to 280kts. Again later on 190kts and then again within seconds 180kts. Or it might be 160kts and then 150kts. It is always two instructions within seconds of acknowledging and always by 10kts. Sometimes this only happens once on a flight sometimes up to three times. Not a biggie but I do tend to mutter under my breath "why couldn't you have said the slower instruction in the first place" or words to that effect.
Only happened once I think on the last flight but attached logs in case you want to take a look. Many thanks. Steve.

Exactly . Happens to me from time to time also.

.....and tonights flight logs with the same issue of speed instructions.

I know some speeds are taken from the aircraft.cfg with regards to speed instructions, maybe Dave could take a look to see if this could be tweaked.
Can't say that I have noticed this, but I'll load up a flight or 2 this weekend and have a look at what is said,
