I have the same British Accent ATC controller all throughout China...

For me the regional accents are the best part of the program...as they significantly add to the illusion of travel...are they all going to be accurate all over the world at some time? PF3 has had many updates since its release...

Are you saying when handed off to different controllers you had the SAME voice set playing... that shouldn't happen and if so I'd like to see the log.

There are no current plans for adding to the voice sets at this time. It is a HUGE and time consuming task and if we ever did decide to go down that route we would obviously be adding a lot more to the current script and therefore it would make the current voice sets redundant, so we would be starting from scratch in attempting to persuade users it would be a good idea to add their own voice. :(

Everytime I have flown to china I have had Chinese accents. On occasion switching to English sounding. I have never had what you are describing.
Post your logs so that we can see your route and if necessary Dave can adjust the regional settings. Usually the problem is FAA settings instead of ICAO.

Please include your Flight/FPP directory, too, this makes things easier.

Of course...the existing ones are more than enough...I would just expect that the accents are matched with the regions correctly...I'll post the data as requested...Thanks

You need to post a zip file of your PF3 Flight directory immediately after running the same flight in which you experienced problems. Dave can have a look at the json file and see whether the regions are classified as FAA or ICAO. I think this is a hang over from PF2000 where much of the World was incorrectly classified as FAA. So as we come across anomalies Dave can change them. Your other flight PMDY-->PWAK from your other query should be FAA as it is under Honolulu Center. Though there is a bug there in that pressure is still quoted as millibars. The json file for that flight crosses the East West Meridian and displays incorrectly on the map as Midway island doesn't exist on it.

Never had this, only sometimes the ATIS background radio noise keeps playing even after tuning to a different frequency.
Do you have a log for this flight?

Never had this either. What islands were hopping and what frequencies were you using? A lot of these islands are unmanned.
