520906003 I'm not sure if this is my Forum ID, it came with my order? I know its not my Key, I wouldn't publish that.

I have managed to update PF3, to version 3.2.0, I have rebuilt the database.
I start P3D3.4, I also use MCE which starts up with P3D.
I load flight plan and have plane at airport.
When I click on PF3.exe on my taskbar, P3D crashes to desk as if it was never on, MCE is still sitting there but P3D has completely shut down.
It doesn't give me a chance to connect to Flight Sim.
I have no logged flights as PF3 crashes immediately I activate it from my task bar.
I only purchased it yesterday, so I'm at a complete loss.

So PF3 and P3D crash?

Have you installed PF3 into the default location?

Do you have the latest version of FSUIPC installed?

Yes Dave I have windows 10, latest FSUIPC 4.957, PF3 to C drive FS_addons.
P3d crashes immediately I hit the PF3.exe shortcut on my Taskbar.
PF3 stays on screen but nothing else, P3d needs rebooting?

Okay, so PF3 is still running and not crashing?

Have you recently updated to P3D 3.4? If you still have the previous version does that also crash?

Dave, all that remains on the screen is the PF3 start up screen.
The options screen, I guess, the connect to FS is never highlited, so I've not seen it advance pass go.
I updated the client for P3D 3.4, when it came out, I never tried this in 3.3.5 as I only purchased PF3 yesterday.
Is it possible it's not compatible with P3D3.4?

We've had one use on here having different problems with P3D 3.4. whereas others are running with it just fine, so it is a bit of a mystery.

Have you checked any Window's logs or FSUIPC logs to see if there are any clues at all as to why FS is shutting down?

What I said in the other thread might be useful here, too:

Maybe you can find something helpful in the AVSIM Crash to Desktop Guide for FSX, FSX-SE and P3D V3.0.0 or the AVSIM Prepar3D Guide 1.0.0.
The former helped me adjusting Windows 7 in a way that Burnout Paradise no longer crashes after some time :)

I'm currently downloading P3D 3.4 but at nearly 10GB it will take some time and then the install, if anything like their previous versions, took me days to complete with long intervals awaiting support calls. But hopefully I will be able to check out PF3's full compatibility with this latest version over the next week or so and will report back.

No sorry Dave I haven't. I'm not too technically minded, I'm the older generation.
If you could tell me where to start looking, I'll certainly do my best.
I'm at a loss, as whilst I had this problem my FSC 9.6, said the database was incorrect and that it was not compatible with my FS2004. Strange, so I uninstalled FSC, reinstalled, ran the database, and that now works fine. Could that be clashing with PF3. I never had FS2004 installed? Thanks Dave
