Can't fire up PF3, after I click on the application on the desktop I get " runtime error 339 component msinet.ocx or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."

Tis is on a Windows 10 64 bit system.

Any thoughts on how to fix this ?

Did it work before?
Did you recently uninstall PFE or the PF3 demo?

Edit: And do you still have the file C:\Windows\SysWOW64\MSINET.Ocx?

This is a first time install, just got the software.

If I don't have the ocx file, where can I get it.

Then maybe there was a problem during the installation. Try installing it again, make sure you have admin privileges for that.

Also a good idea to disable your antivirus during installation.

Copy, will do that as well, but all I use is the default microsoft defender which is pretty benign in intrusiveness. But I will turn it off non the less during install.

Reinstall didn't work.....what next ?

I tried downloading the runtime files, but that didn't help either.

I do have the file at the location, but still getting the 339 runtime error.

Are you running the install as admin? Are you installing into the default location?
