Hello!

I just bought PF3 and i encounter 2 Main problems...
Im Using FSX-SE and i cant see anything in the Briefing Panel from my Kneeboards there is just a black box with no Information about the Frequencies
and the 2. Problem is that as soon as i got the clearence and changed to the Ground Freq the VCP instantly gets the taxi clearence even though im not ready to taxy by any means. :S

Any suggestions?

Edit: I also cant use the ATIS... it always says ATIS unavailable at this moment.

Regarding the Kneeboard: FSX doesn't update the view automatically. What I have done is to map a key to open the kneeboard and cycle through the tabs. It closes after the last tab and reopens on the next keypress. At this point it displays the frequencies.

Regarding the immediate taxi clearance request: I guess you are running in VCP mode 2 or 3, here your virtual co-pilot is very quick, but you can wait with the actual taxiing until you are ready. If you want more realism, you can switch to VCP mode 0 or 1, but I would suggest waiting until you get more familiar with PF3.

Regarding the ATIS: I assume you mean the ACARS ATIS for the destination airport. I think you have to be closer to the destination to receive it. Or just tune to the destination's ATIS frequency later.

What I usually do is operate the VCP in mode 0 at first. So I have to change frequencies; ask for clearance/push and start/taxi and "roger" the ATC instructions. I can do all this in my own time and not be rushed by the over-eager copilot.

When I am at the holding point, but before asking for take off clearance, change the VCP to mode 2 using Ctrl-Shift-V key. Then ask for T/O clearance.
