Decided to install the demo on my dad's simulator computer and flight plan processing worked as it should. So something has changed on my computer, I just do not know what. I have uninstalled PF3 but would like full instructions for removing everything from my system to have a fresh install because something is affecting the flight plan processing.

Thanks,

Mike Cameron

Maybe compare what is running in the task manager? (shortcut: Ctrl-Shift-Esc)
Sort alphabetically (on Windows 7 by clicking on the column "Image Name"), so the process names do not jump around.

That is impossible because they are in two different locations. Can you be more specific, for example what processes that are required for PF3 to work. I uninstalled AVG antivirus and went back to Windows Defender because that is one major difference between the two machines. But PF3 flight plan process still does not work on my system.

Thanks,
Mike Cameron

I don't know what I am looking for, just differences.
You can save the tasklisk to a file by opening a cmd shell and typing:
tasklist > filename.txt

Do it on both and paste them here or compare yourself.

Thomas, thanks for all of your help. Here is the task list for my computer (Cameron_tasks) and my Dad's (Dad+Tasks).

Only on your system are these processes:
aaHMSvc.exe
AISuite3.exe
AppleMobileDeviceService.
ASCService.exe
ASCTray.exe
atkexComSvc.exe
dllhost.exe
Dropbox.exe
EzUpdt.exe
GfExperienceService.exe
GoogleCrashHandler.exe
GoogleCrashHandler64.exe
iPodService.exe
ipoint.exe
itype.exe
LiveUpdate.exe
mDNSResponder.exe
MediaMallServer.exe
Monitor.exe
MSASCui.exe
notepad.exe
NvNetworkService.exe
nvscpapisvr.exe
NvStreamNetworkService.ex
NvStreamService.exe
NvStreamUserAgent.exe
nvtray.exe
nvvsvc.exe
nvxdsync.exe
RtkNGUI64.exe
Steam.exe
SteamService.exe
steamwebhelper.exe
taskeng.exe
WUDFHost.exe
I haven't verified what they are all supposed to do, but maybe you can identify and stop (some of) them, at least temporarily, to find the cause this problem.
If I had to guess, it would be the ASC... processes (Advances SystemCare), but I don't really know.
Maybe you need to reinstall after stopping these (and the virus scanner) to make sure your installation is fine.

Just a thought Mike, have you run the install validation utility lately... might highlight something maybe your AV has removed?

Disabled antivirus and stopped the ASC items and reinstalled but problem still occurs.

Ran the validation utility after install and report said everything was installed correctly.

Thanks,

Mike

I am now totally at a loss. I stopped all of the services one at a time except for drivers and program still did not work each time.

Thanks for all of the support with this problem.
