I had to reload PF3 and now I hear no chatter. I do not remember having to turn it on anywhere and I went through the whole manual.

I assume you have AI aircraft present and are tuned to the correct frequency. Check to be sure "Use ATC Chatter" is selected on the Options #2 > Advanced Options screen, Misc. section. If this doesn't sort it, you may want to validate your installation (Options #2 screen).

Select "Advanced Options and INI File Tweaks" and it should be the last option listed at lower right.

Needed to update and I see the ATC check but still no chatter and have validated the install. ??

In your sim what percent do you have AI set to? Go to a busy airport once oyu have set up PF3 and your sim and you should hear something.

I have it set to 40% airline and 25% GA. I have uninstalled again. Is there any cfg files that need to be deleted. I am wondering if something may have gotten corrupt? I did a flight from PIT to DCA and heard AI but no chatter at all.

That is a somewhat contradictory statement!
What do you mean by "chatter?" If you are thinking of "canned" pre-recorded ATC chatter as can be heard on other ATC programmes then no you won't hear that. You will only hear PF3 talking to other AI aircraft.

That was my mis understanding. I thought thats what "ATC Chatter" would be not "AI Chatter".
