Tonight I did a flight from EIDW to EGBB.

I was given my clearance to climb to FL 070 and then expect FL210 after 10 mins. Well I was given instructions by tower to take off on runway 10 and fly heading 070, which I did and climbed to FL 030 where I leveled off and waited for further instructions from departure. I did not receive any and as I was being buffeted around by wind I requested a climb to FL080 which was granted. SO I climed to FL080 on heading 070.

After a while departure asked me to check my position as I was 10 miles off the airway, but I had not been given any instructions or and clearance to resume own navigation. Like wise I had no clearance above FL080.

I was then told to switch to London control on 124.55, and in the next breath told to contact approach on 135.5, 135.5 I believe is Dublin approach, which I had just left.

Anyway I have attached my logs, as it is not the first time I have not been given told to resume own navigation by ATC.

Cheers Rob

Your first waypoint (DW551) was very close to the departure airport: Flight plan shows 6 miles, log directly after takeoff shows less than 5 miles.
I assume PF3 was confused about this, I think you should have received a warning about this when loading the flight plan in PF3.
At some point PF3 decided that you will never reach waypoint 1 (you did not reach it because you were still at vectoring for your departure) and started to nag you about being off the airway.
