I don't have that file in my Windows/System32 folder, but I do have it in my Windows/sysWOW64 folder. Should I just copy and paste it over? I'm using windows 7 64 bit by the way.

Since the last post I tried again and things worked properly- I don't believe I did anything differently. In any case, the log was overwritten by the successful one. Next time something happens I will, though.

Any advice on why the displayer .exe won't start?

Part of support implies that you read what I originally post. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT FOR A NETWORKED PC. I just want to have the displayer open in the background so I can see what the options for me to say are. I UNDERSTAND I'LL HAVE TO ALT+TAB. I just want the program to run in the first place! I've reinstalled two times, once in program files and once in the C/ root. Whenever I try to start it I get the blue windows 7 "thinking" wheel for a few seconds and then nothing. This is with/without XP compatibility and the "run as administrator" option. Firewall was off when installing both times.

From what I can gather It should function as a stand alone program in the background- I know I have to minimize FS to see it, but my problem is that it won't start at all.

I'm having trouble getting the display program to run- I have set it as "run as administrator", and the closed caption mode in the options is checked. When I try to run the .exe, I get the "thinking" circle for a few seconds and then nothing- the program will not start. The folder is created ...
