I like that idea as I want to keep things tidy and in order. I managed to re-install most items tonight and still got my PHNL to KLAX flight in...When I get everything back in order I will try PFE again. I will stay in touch....and Thank you for your help and advice. :)

I am re-installing FS9 at this moment in a new location C:/FS9......I don't yet know what will be the results. Question...should any add-on's which would normally go in (x86) also be loaded as FS9 for instance eg. C:/FSscene 2004

I am using FS9 and I do not experience this problem except when running PFE, 2 fligths two mishaps....Everything else runs as it should, I have done over 25 flights since getting this new system w/out a hitch. I except your advice but I won't re-format for one program...It is tooooo much work to go ...

This is a new one for me....did two flights w/ PFE and all was working well until into my flight I lost most of my panel functions in 2d mode and almost all key board functions as well. When I went to VC mode the panel functions lost in 2d were working and the only way to get the 2d panel functions ...

Dave I think it may be solved.....the adv file came from XP and did not have the correct path (x86) for windows 7 so I modified the entry to reflect this and flights are now showing in the load box. let me test things and I will let you know. Vincent :D  Okay.....I am not getting the wing ...
