Hello Would any PFE users like to plan a flight out of London Stansted, compile it and post the contents of the following files: \PFE\FS2000\PF2000\FlightPlans\ (the .freq file for that plan) \PFE\Data\freq_conversion.dat I just want to rule out an issue with my particular installation that has plagued me for a long time. Thanks |

Hello A fellow Avsim user has confirmed to me that my issue is a long standing issue with PFE/PF2000 As no further help seems to be forthcoming from the developer I will post here how I have worked around it. The issue only occurs for me at EGSS (so far) so when flying out of there and being asked to contact departure on 120.68, I just ignore the call and climb to 14500 where I contact center as normal. I guess I could also lower this altitude in PF2000 when compiling EGSS plans and move to center even quicker. Not a perfect solution but at least I am not stuck without a remedy. |

You would do better not to touch PF2000 once the initial FP compile has been done. In other words do all you altitude and other FP adjustments within PFE. vololiberista |

Hello Yes I do all my altitude adjustments in PFE post compile , but what I was referring to was lowering the center altitude in PF2000 settings before compiling This only effects the altitude at which you are handed of to center and will be used for all compiled plans. What are your frequencies when flying out of EGSS, do you also see 120.68 as the departure frequencies ? I would really like Dave to comment on this, maybe he is off on holidays |
