Hello Dave I have a problem departing out of Stansted regarding the departure frequency given by PFE. PFE always tells me to contact departure on 120.68 which is not possible to tune on my radio. PFE_Display also shows 120.68 I am using UK2000 Stansted Extreme and the frequencies from its afcad are: Freq Type Name 120.625 Approach ESSEX RADAR 127.175 ATIS EGSS 121.725 Ground STANSTED 121.950 Ground STANSTED DELIVERY 126.950 Approach STANSTED DIRECTOR 123.800 Tower STANSTED 125.550 Tower STANSTED TOWER Here are the contents of the various files on my install that seem to contain the frequencies //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PFE_FSX Freq.dat EGSS,0,0,"Stansted" EGSS,1,127.17,"EGSS" EGSS,5,121.72,"STANSTED" EGSS,5,121.95,"STANSTED DELIVERY" EGSS,6,123.80,"STANSTED" EGSS,6,125.55,"STANSTED TOWER" EGSS,8,120.62,"ESSEX RADAR" EGSS,8,126.95,"STANSTED DIRECTOR" //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- freq_conversion.dat Error processing frequencies for EGSS //------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D:\PFE\FS2000\PF2000\FlightPlans\PF2000 - EGSS to EHRD.freq +--------+-------+------+------+------+------+------+------+------+------+ |WP IDENT|CLRNCE |GROUND|TOWER |UNICOM|MULTCM|FLTSVC|APPRCH|DEPART|CENTER| +--------+-------+------+------+------+------+------+------+------+------+ |00 EGSS |E125.55|121.73|123.80|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |120.68|118.60|120.63| |01 D268M|E0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |122.90|0.00 |0.00 |120.68|118.35| |02 CLN |E0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |122.90|0.00 |0.00 |120.68|118.35| |03 REDFA|E0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |122.90|0.00 |0.00 |120.68|118.35| |04 REDFA|E0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |122.90|0.00 |0.00 |120.68|118.35| |05 TULIP|H0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |122.90|0.00 |0.00 |120.68|125.75| |06 TULIP|H0.00 |0.00 |122.10|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |119.50|118.60|125.75| |07 BASNO|H121.98|121.70|118.10|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |118.70|118.75|125.75| |08 EHRD |H121.75|122.18|118.20|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |127.20|119.05|123.85| |09 EHRD |H121.70|122.18|118.20|0.00 |0.00 |0.00 |127.20|119.05|123.85| +--------+------+------+------+------+------+------+------+------+------+ I hope you can help with this, if you need anything else let me know. |

Did some testing this afternoon using only default scenery and PFE gave me correct frequencies. I myself have a few xtreme sceneries and have never come across anything like this before, have you re-ran makerwys or posted in UK2000 forum with regards to the afcad. Just checked your frequencies with the ones from my debug log(std V xtreme) and they match,so i don't know where this other frequency is coming from... |

Thanks for trying it for me Dave, It is a mystery but I can work around it by just going straight up to 14,500 and contacting center, seems to work ok from there on |

I think if you're departing from EGSS you'd be handed off at about 5k-6k |

Hello Dave M That is fine, it is only EGSS that I have had this issue with departure. Yesterday I had a strange Center freq given when enroute to EINN which did not show any commands in PFE_Display once I had tuned to it, but I got round that one by tuning to another center freq that was listed in PFE_display. I have one other issue which is non urgent that I will start a separate post for. Other than that everything is working well and controlling PFE with VAC voice command software is really nice. http://www.dwvac.com/ |
