Hi,
After a long and successful period with P3D v5.4, PF3, and RXP GPS navigation, a computer glitch forced me to re-install all my flight sim software. Now, when PF3 vectors me towards the GPS course, the aircraft closes with that course, but on setting Nav Arm, the aircraft then veers away. Formerly, the same aircraft seemed to have a sensitive, almost magnetic attraction to that course.
I'm at a loss, so hoping for some help, log file attached.

Regards, Jim

Hi Jim,
This sounds to me more like an issue with the P3D aircraft than with PF3 (it knows nothing about an aircraft's GPS).
With some FS aircraft you need to switch the NAV mode from VOR to GPS to get the NAV to follow a GPS flight path.
Is there perhaps a similar setting in P3D?

Hope this helps,
Martin

Hi, Martin,
The aircraft has an RXP GTN750 gauge, set to GPS. When in range, I switch from Hdg. to Nav., the aircraft heads towards the GPS magenta line, lines up, then inexplicably veers off to starboard.
The same aircraft has faithfully followed the GPS course hundreds of times in my previous installation. Since this is a brand new installation, I'll install another aircraft, and test again.

Regards, Jim

Hi Jim,

I can confirm it has nothing to do with PF3
