Hello, I am using FSX/ MCE / PF3 (with Randomizer). for several years and have had no serious issues. However, Lately, I have noticed this problem crop up. If TOWER issues a "clear for takeoff RWY xx, fly runway heading" I will get no "clear own navigation" call from ATC. Radio hand-off from TOWER to ATC controlling agency is all normal. I receive speed and altitude clearances but never a "cleared own navigation" call. When I maneuver myself on course (meaning, disregarding the "fly runway heading" clearance issued) ATC does not challenge me about this.

I absolutely love PF3, never fly without it. Thanks for the hard work.

Cheers,
AC

You have SID's active so you won't get directions

Actually not your fault but a bug in PF3. Thanks to Dan (our longest serving beta tester) studies your log and has found the issue. Basically when you requested an alternative runway the global 'active SID' switch gets turned off and therefore you received a runway heading. I'll address this asap
