I still cant get pushback to the left or right using shift+p 1 and 2 to work while PFE is connected. Not a major major concern but that problem exists using stock PFE hotkey settings.

Also I was thinking maybe a button or checkbox on the front panel where the audio adjustments are where you can enable/disable the pause function direct while inflight instead of having to disconnect, reset the pause to zero and resume again if you decide your not going to fall asleep before the flight is over. Food for thought. :-)

That's a well know problem with the FS push back feature. Personally I never use it and have a Ground Handling gauge installed.... the name of the author escapes me (Rob something or other I believe) but it's available at AVSIM and is brilliant, not only for pushing back but also for auto taxi speed.

If you don't fall asleep why not simply wait for the pause to occur then hit the 'P' key ;-)

By the way, you're not a real world pilot are you? :lol:

Ah ok I thought you had to disconnect and reset it first after a pause. I'll try that next time.
I flown a Bellanca Viking and a couple of Cessnas many years ago but never got my paper. :-(

Hi and sorry for my bad english!
I want thank You for Your greate ATC addon!
I heve some suggestion - if it's possible ofcourse! :)
- now we heve winter time - it would be great if we can request from ground de/anti iceing operation on de-iceig apron, when after that get "normal" taxi clarance.
- could You add option offset left/right from flight track due the weather?
- I don't know if this is possible - but could You add to ATIS such information like RVR, breaking action, windsheer information - and Approch give us clerance depend on this condition eg. CAT I or CAT II in use?
- could You add option for alt airports, where we can put ICAO code for our alt. and when we have to flight to alt. ATC give us instruction to this airports?
- could You add for emergensy, request for fuel drop eg when we have to going to ETOPS alternate.
- it's posible to add ATC using metric system in some region eg. Russia?
Thank You.
Best regards from Poland
Grzegorz

My step son has spent a lot of time in Poland, playing in a band name 'The Few'... appeared on Polish TV a few times also. But that has absolutely nothing to do with 'my' linguistic skills.

An idea, but maybe it's added in the next project :

- Actually, PFE (or maybe PF2000) automaticaly remove some waypoints from the flightplans (sometimes because they are too closed, sometimes for other reasons). This is a big problem with SID and STAR for example....

Maybe it's possible to correct this in the future version ?

Luc,

You can adjust the minimum distances for waypoints in the PF2000.CFG file, although you do so at your own risk.

Here's the entries to look for, which are self explanatory

WaypointBuffer=10
DeptBuffer=10
DestBuffer=15

As for SIDs/STARs you shouldn't be adding them to your flight plan, then you won't have a problem.... if using an FMC then add the SID/STAR when programming the FMC but your actual PFE flight plan will not include them.... your SID will complete when you reach the first waypoint in your flight plan or a given altitude unless you specify one your self on the SID/STARs options page. your STAR will commence when you reach the last waypoint in your flight plan.
