Hi - I haven't used FDC for about 5 months and when I tried to start it up recently, I get the first startup screen (picture of cockpit) but then nothing...the program seems to terminate as there are no processes left running.

I have version 3.10.0 (updated on 3 May 2009). I tried manually updating from the links in this forum - but no change.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance.

Nope - wasn't me (I had e-mailed aerosoft support though and was told to try manual updates and, if that didn't work, to try this forum).

Help would be great - thanks again.

FDC cannot just stop working by iteself so something must have changed on your system.... perhaps another install or uninstall has affected it.

I think the first thing to do is try a reinstall. If you want to save any settings you have then please make a copy of the FDC.INI file in the main FDC folder plus the entire content of the FDC\Data folder and sub folders.

After the new install simply copy these back

When installing please ensure you stop all other programs that may be running, in particular any virus checkers and especially any other security type products
