I had a plan out of KLGA, which has a Clearance frequency of 121.875 and it was a no go. PF3 simply did not recognize a xx.87 or xx.88Any suggestions? tony |

I haven't noticed any problems with .125 decimal frequencies. What aircraft are you flying that allows you tune xxx.87 or xxx.88...this isn't normally possible: .87 should increment to .90 MD |

121.87 should work here, EDDG has the same frequency for Ground (and has no separate clearance frequency) and I never had problems during the beta. Which aircraft do you use? Did PF3 say something like "ComFreq: 121.something <> ClearanceFreq: 121.87"? Did you use COM1 or COM2? If you want to use COM2, you have to enable it in the advanced options section. |

I'd like to see the flight plan please and also all the files from your PF3\Logs folder. Is your KLGA stock or an addon. |

Flysimware's Mu2 appears to be to problem. When I changed to another aircraft, the PF3 understood the frequency. Flysimware insists that it's not their issue. Klga clearance frequency is 121.875 . Hope someone has a solution. tony |

It's most likely to be your a/c. Some a/c have radios that don't do three decimal places. In which case one drops the third which is 5 mostly. |

Thanks for the logs. According to what I see you never actually tuned to the correct frequency and this is what was displed in the FS message window ComFreq: 127.05 <> ClearanceFreq: 121.87 So if you're saying you actually dialled in 121.?? then we're obviously not picking that up from that aircraft, which would be very, very unusual to say the least |

I have Flysimware's MU-2B and will test it with KLGA (default FSX). |

Just tested it, it works fine: The Collins COM in the MU-2B is COM2. If you want to use COM2, you need to go to "Options #2 -> Advanced Options" and enable "Use COM2 Radio". (and you have to enter 121.88, as it jumps from 121.85 to 121.88) COM1 is in the GPS unit and is controlled separately. I like to use the Collins, too, that's why I asked Dave to add support for COM2 to PF3 And I already sent him something for the wish list: Use FSUIPC offset 0x3122 to determine the COM selected in the audio panel |
