Hello all.

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 64bit. Before that I was using Vista 64bit with zero problems with the program.

After installing and updating the program to 3.11 it runs fine when you open it up (run as administrator). The problem comes when you start up flight simulator. Going back to FDC it is no longer there (It just disapears) Attempting to start FDC back up brings up the splash screen, then it just disapears and never loads.

Is there a simple fix to this problem?

I am fairly certain its not Windows 7. Everything on it runs better and smoother then it ever did on Vista.

I very much doubt it's anything to do with Win7 either... more likely an installation hiccup. Perhaps try a reinstall and ensure you stop all other programs running, in particular any security type products. Obviously you need to be in Admin mode too. If you still have the same problem after that then please come back to us.

We reinstalled FDC and updated it to 3.10 as that was the latest version we updated on Vista x64 bit and it worked! For what ever reason version 3.11 shuts itself off whenever you start either flight simulator x or 2004. But only updating it to 3.10 and it loads and works correctly.

Hopefully this will help somebody else out there.

Version 3.11 works just fine here on Vista 64
