Dave - a big thank you for the latest Beta. This has nicely and neatly solved two more of the issues I raised.

All we are now left with is the curious failure of the TGS display to connect properly, which is preventing the testing of TGS failing to work properly at (I think) small airports. If you have anything you would like me to look into at this end, e.g. potentially conflicting software, FSUIPC setting changes etc. do shout.

That being said, I have a busy week coming up on family matters, so might not be able to apply myself to that immediately.

Best regards,

John

I think the next step would be to see if there are any error messages in the FSUIPC log regarding TGS

Morning, Dave,

I now have the TGS Display utility working! A simple solution that I should have thought of before - "Run As Administrator". I bet its mentioned in the manual, too. I will refrain from moaning about recent versions of Windows being so pointlessly complicated . . . oh, I just did.

So the next stage now is to wait until a small airport fails to offer visual guidance. This may take a little while. And, thinking about it, I don't think this has happened recently so the issue might even have already been solved by your guidance on settings. Time will tell.

Best regards,

John

Ah, well done. I didn't think of that but yes, FS, FSUIPC, PF3, etc should all be running under the same admin rights
