Dear reader,

I have a question. I was doing a flight from amsterdam to geneva. I started at gate d23, requested clearance, then push and start, and after that, when the engines were started. I then taxied to runway 18L. But to get there i had to cross runway 27. So i requested taxi when i was at the holding point at runway 27. I expected to hear: continue taxi or wait and then continue taxi. Instead i heard nothing. Then i crossed the runway and continued with the flight.
Could you please tell me what went wrong or what i should have done differently.
I added the debug log file.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Rob Peters.

Were you stationary?

Beta 3.21.9 should have applied the following
Quote:
FIXED a problem that you would get an incorrect message about the wrong frequency if you requested clearance to cross a runway during your taxi if you weren't stationary. You will now get a reminder that you need to be stationary.

Yes, that is the correct key. I had another look at your log and it would appear that TGS was not running, so you wouldn't have received any taxi guidance.

Assuming this does usually work for you please report back if it happens again and include your log file again please.

Hello Dave,

TGS was not running. I didn’t know that was required. I will make sure that next time it is running. I will let you know how it went.

Cheers,

Rob.
