I am trying the demo version of PF3 with FSK.
I have created a flight from EGDG St. Mawgan to EGDR Culdrose with the Mooney Bravo.
Communications OK until I get to runway 31 holding point then nothing.
I have CP Mode set to 3. If I manually contact the tower I am given taxi instructions again.
Any advice gratefully received please.
TIA
John

You will only get instructions to tune/contact tower if you get close enough to the active runway... if you're not given those instruction then simply tune to Tower manually and request takeoff... hotkey #6. But as vololiberista suggested, please attach your logs from the PF3\Logs folder (they must be ZIPPED) and then we can tell for sure what's going on.

As far as I can tell EGDG only has a Tower frequency. So zero for clearance, zero again when ready to taxi and 6 when you are at the holding point.

Thank you. Using 0 ,0 and 6 as suggested did work. But why was a departure frequency given when it could not be used?
Log files attached as required.
Thank you again.

Departure is once airborne, so Tower handed you to Departure after takeoff, followed by your response:
Quote:
19/05/2017 21:01:02: 600 - Transcript: 'Easy 4 Contact departure on 123.6 '
19/05/2017 21:01:17: 420 - Transcript: 'Departure Easy 4 with you out of 1 thousand for 3 thousand VFR Request Flight Following '
19/05/2017 21:01:25: 900 - Transcript: 'Easy 4 Radar contact QNH 1013 resume own navigation '

As Dan said you contact Departure after take-off. You are advised of the current departure frequency during clearance delivery.
