I'm getting a CTD reported as ATC DLL fault module. My initial research says it's due to conflicting ATC frequencies...

I'm including the logs...any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

ATC.DLL is part of FS's inbuilt ATC system (not PF3), but of course it continues to run silently in the background when using alternative systems.

This may help:

I'll try "ATC=off" in FSUIPC init as suggested...Thanks

But Ive been flying FS9 since it first came out and this is the first time this ever happened...

I must have done something?

Are you using AI Controller? In my case, AIC led to CTDs.

I have never had the issue myself but from that discussion several people have (while using another third-party programme at least). There are other things that can cause the same error, irrespective of third-party ATC add-ons, so the conicidence of using such may just be a red herring.

You might find my page at http://www.adventure-unlimited.org/faultfinding.php useful for tracing this and other issues.

Many discussions advise to set FSUIPC.ini to "removeatc=yes"

Ive been up and down the list but I dont see it?

My understanding from Ray's post (though I haven't tried it) is that you add that line to the [General] section and save the file. See here.

Success!!!

Line added...CTD solved...

This was a great example of the use of forums at its best!

I NEVER would have been able to figure this out without all of your input...

Incidentally...Removing the ATC not only makes the sim more sturdy...but it makes using PF3 more tidy...

I highly recommend it...

Thanks again...

I wish I had have this possibility in FSX, too. The kneeboard sometimes contains the communication with default ATC.
