Hi Dave,

I do not give up easily. I re-copied the gauges across from PF3 and TGS.gau now works! Don't ask me why, the files were of identical size. So I have a working TGS gauge so could stop there.

But . . . may I ask the difference between TGS2.dll and TGS2.gau? The look identical in terms of file size and function. Maybe having both there is causing a clash because panel.cfg does not specify file suffices? Which should I use?

Best regards,

John

.GAU for FS9 and .DLL for FSX

Just to wrap this one up, TGS2 gauge also burst into life recently! I can't say when it happened (because I thought I had changed them all to the earlier one, but missed one) but I suspect it was after I changed my screen resolution.

I have a pretty large screen to handle my poor eyesight, and Windows 10 had defaulted it to a higher resolution than my old computer was capable of. Of course, high resolution makes text miniscule which isn't a lot of help, but I dealt with this by enlarging the text. But this didn't help FSX which needed a telescope to select aircraft etc! So more recently, I reduced the screen resolution and my guess is that is what was affecting the gauges.

As to why - anybody's guess.

Best regards,

John
